Come Thrift with us at the Christ Church Thrift Shop

The Thrift Store will be closed from December 23, 2024 - January 1, 2025. The store will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Come find your new favorite sweater or belt here – and help save the planet at the same time. We sell new and pre-loved men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and accessories, as well as vintage collectibles, housewares, toys, puzzles and books and surprising and fun things you can’t live without.

Inventory changes often with new items being added daily.

We accept clean, gently used clothing (men’s, women’s, and children’s), toys, puzzles, games and/or working household items ranging from cookware to lamps to bicycles. Donations are accepted during open hours only,

 Because our shop is very small, we can’t accept TVs or furniture items that are large or very heavy. We are a charitable organization and offer receipts for tax purposes.

If you have a passion for helping others or a love of thrifting, we welcome you to join our team. Volunteering at the Thrift Shop is a wonderful opportunity to work with friendly people doing great things. Our Story

The Thrift Shop has been serving the community since March 27, 1951. Its original location was 1114 Ninth Street, and it was formerly known as “The Opportunity Shop” or “Opp Shop” for short.

  • Sales help support Christ Church and the Christ Church Day School, military families, disabled veterans, local and national philanthropic organizations, and worldwide disaster relief.
  • Camaraderie for church members and non-parishioner volunteers, and a gathering place for its customers.
  • A place to recycling gently used items – which keeps them out of landfills and helps save the planet. We also partner with other philanthropic organizations who can extend our reach.
